The task was to reposition the m&m’s brand as confectionery consumed on such occasions as socializing with friends and watching television. Sports events are a combination of these two. Basketball was the natural next in line after m&m’s successful cooperation with the football national team, and the World Cup in China was the ideal opportunity. Through distinctive solutions, we put together our famous basketball players with m&m’s characters and created the ‘medal-winning team’. The campaign was accompanied by interesting activations in social networks and promo events in friendly matches.
